UNESCO Video: Biosphere
Reserves: Partnership for People and Nature
	The video
“Biosphere Reserves” was created for the Virtual Exhibition web site
showcasing sustainable development programmes for the Johannesburg Summit.
It is the outcome of a successful partnership between the MAB programme and
	various organizations, like the Convention
on Biological Diversity (CBD), sharing the same ambition of conserving
biodiversity and promoting the role of populations.

From the supplier: The music of Johnny Clegg brings together the black and
white South African cultures and arises from cultural roots that affirm a
sense of place and history. Johnny Clegg befriended Zulu musician Sipho
Mchunu when Clegg was a teenager. They formed the bands Juluka and Savuka.
The musical partnership evolved into political statements about the
possibility for harmonious relationships among people of different races and
	cultures.

Südafrikanischer Tee
South Africa is known for Rooibos and Honey Bush tea with  several tea
estates producing black tea. Most of the black tea is consumed locally. Rooibos
and Honeybush teas are very common throughout South Africa
Africa is one of the major tea producers. Most of the tea connoisseurs are
familiar with names like Assam, Ceylon, Darjeeling, Fujian, yet when Kenya is
mentioned coffee is the first word that is associated . In 1998 Kenya was the
largest black tea exporter in the World. Many Indian teas are blended with
African teas from Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe.

o/t: movie that included "THE CLEGG FAMILY"
Posted by: "Patricia" Sat Jan 13, 2007 3:27 pm (PST)
However, this doesn't sound good:-
Wagon Master, splendidly directed by John Ford, is a superlative
western. The film is the outwardly simple tale of a Mormon wagon train headed
for Utah. Along the way, the group, led by Elder Wiggs (Ward Bond) hook up with
two horse traders Travis Blue (Ben Johnson) and Sandy Owens (Harry Carey Jr),
the members of a traveling medicine show and a tribe of Navajo Indians. The
group is threatened by a gang, known as the Clegg family, who have robbed
an express office and murdered the clerk. This wonderful film emphasizes the
virtues of solidarity, sacrifice and tolerance, and shows John Ford at his most
masterful, in total control of the production from the casting to the bit
players to the grandeur and scope of the visual compositions. The film, with its
breathtaking scenery, brilliant performances by a cast of character actors, and
an engaging sense of humor, is a superlative example of the American western.
Wagonmaster inspired the television series Wagon Train and was also shown in a
computer-colorized version ~ Linda Rasmussen, All Movie Guide
